Recently I was given the privilege of addressing a number of state politicians, media and industry stakeholders at Parliament House Victoria on the challenges all festivals face around providing patron care in the current drug landscape and the need for evidence-based reform like #pilltesting. I’d like to thank the Victorian Greens, Tim Read MP and Samantha Ratnam – Leader of the Victorian Greens for the opportunity to get a few things off my chest while representing the beautiful community that cared for and encouraged me when I was young man trying to find my place in the world.
I truly and passionately hope that Victoria can very soon become the progressive state our Premier seems to believe it is and start reducing drug related harm WHEREVER drugs are taken and not just at music festivals.
