In this episode, we interview registered music therapist Tanya Silveira. Tanya is a Ph.D. graduate researcher investigating the role of iPad-based music therapy in stroke rehabilitation. Her current research examines how accessible music making can positively impact hand function and wellbeing in stroke survivors.
Identifying as an Australian of Indian origin, Tanya works hard to advocate for the importance of visibility and representation in music therapy and beyond. Tanya has successfully established multiple ongoing music therapy programs in both Australia and India.
