Rapper Doums (of true-school french rap crew “L’Entourage” fame) invited director Jules Renault to film the music video for “Millions”, the first release from his much-awaited “Pilote & Co” solo album.
The video was shot in Bamako (Mali, West Africa), where the French rapper was born, in the private residence of his uncle, millionaire Mamadou Sinsy Coulibaly, also the president of Mali’s National Business Council.
Set between dreams and reality, the video presents a both comedic and glamorous picture, alternating between a vision of flamboyant African-style luxury, and a starker vision of reality where Doums is pictured working at a dry cleaners, saving every penny in hopes of future wealth.
